Boo-zin and Tequila

As we prepare for the launch of our resort collection, another beach sipping cocktail comes to mind. This time the base spirit is tequila. Tequila is derived from the agave plants grown in Mexico. It can be unaged (blanco), aged 1-11 months (resposado) or aged for one year in a barrel (anejo). 

Today’s cocktail uses the blanco tequila, blue curaçao, limes, fresh mint, simple syrup and club soda. I prefer to muddle the lime, mint and simple syrup before adding the tequila and blue curaçao. Shake all ingredients, pour over ice and top with club soda.
